I didn't use any molds at all for this one.  White low-fire clay, slab construction. 

I coated the whole leather-hard vase with black underglaze, then free-hand carved the bamboo design. 

I used gloss glaze on just the bamboo on the outside so the background is matte charcoal. 
Vase is about 9" tall (and weighs a ton):
