It's a long story.

Felt Chinese take-out:

A spring roll, noodles and a fortune cookie with a lovely chopstick set for one of my cousin's little girl.

The filling is folded in half and tied in the middle then tacked to the folded end of the wrapper so she doesn't decide to have a ticker-tape parade.

The fortune can go back in...

...and come out again:

It's sewn onto the cookie for loss-prevention  Cheesy

The chopsticks in their matching case, the food in the take-out container and the plate clean and ready for next time.

This was my first time making felt food. I searched a lot of websites for how to make these things and combined a little from here and a little from there for the end result. A lot of sites recommended wool felt -which I can see why, wool is so nice- but I'm allergic to wool so I used the acrylic kind.

I had a fun time making this, especially the fortune cookie. Thanks for looking!

What a cute idea!  Looks delicious!  ^_^  I love the see-through box you found for it, too!  Much more durable than the paper boxes!

Thanks, guys!

The box was 99 cents at Michael's. It does look like it will stand up to much more abuse than paper and I hope it'll be easier to tell what's actually in it when organizing playthings  Smiley
