Every year I ask my kids what I can make them for christmas that they actually want. Normally its a hat, gloves but this year my son came up with two very off the wall (harder) ideas.
One was a quidditch set that he could pretend with but he wanted to play with it inside.
So here are the pictures.
Its a "chest" with two bats, two bludgers (held down with chains) the quaffle and then in the corner is a box with the snitch. I crocheted everything but the bats they are made with felt and the outside of the chest is covered in felt too.

Everything outside the box

The inside:

Thanks for looking I can't wait to see his reaction (and his sister's reaction she wanted it after I told her I was actually doing it!!)

I have a friend who would go absolutely nuts over this... she's the biggest harry fan I know. Very creative son!

So wonderful for a Harry Potter fan. Also I love that you ask your kids what you can make and they would like, much better then just assuming and investing all that time.
