I picked up a book in my local library recently (21 sensational patchwork bags by Susan Briscoe) and quickly became obsessed with making these little bags! So anyone who is getting something little from me this year, will no doubt find it wrapped inside of of these Cheesy

Strawberry ones

Blueberry

And some poinsettia-y ones (with fabric recycled from a skirt)

It's a great quick project and perfect for using up small pieces of fabric! Smiley

OMG - they are adorable.  I have to find that book.  I am imagining bright red with black or brown polka dots and emerald velvety leaves in my head right now....

Thank you!

That combination sounds wonderful, Onyxnoxy, especially the velvety leaves! Warning though, they do get a bit addictive... Cheesy

I can completely understand why!  How cute would that be to give people little ornaments, jewelry, chocolates, candies, little luxuries in those.  How big are they?

They're about 3-4 inches wide, so pretty small. Like she says in the book though, you can increase the pieces on a photocopier and make them any size. She has a really cute example of a pumpkin for trick or treating made this way!
