Would anyone be interested in a swap to help out other crafters decorate their homes?  It could possibly be a 5 point swap starting in the new year.  The swap would be open to any styles and any room of your house.

I searched through the boards (briefly) and didn't see anything similar.  Well, besides this one:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=249386.0 but it doesn't look like it went any where.

I'm currently trying to decorate my home in a french country/shabby chic style and so far I've bought a few yards of different fabrics for pillows (easiest way to make a change, I think), but it would be nice to get some fresh ideas on the subject.

My problem would be deciding which room to decorate. They all have a different theme. The kitchen is 50's/I Love Lucy, the bedroom and living room are gothic/midevil, the spare room is antique, spare bathroom is an explosion of rubber ducks and the craft room is pretty much randomness and swap swag.

we could give options?  maybe limit it to 3 choices if we have more than one room to decorate

Yay, I'd be interested! I was just thinking about a swap like this myself!

I moved out the last year, and still haven't got everything perfect.  I have two theme-y rooms: a vintage travel living room and a Parisian-esque boudoir bedroom, plus a couple other rooms that I may just need things for.

I would love to do something like this! I was just complaining to my husband that ever since I started crafting, I spent all my time making things for other people and I've never taken the time to make our house prettier!

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I know there is another new swap being talked about along the same lines, but using upcycled items

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=400359.0

Unfortunately I am unable to organize anything at this time, but if someone wanted organized I would love to join this swap, or the upcycled one.

Personally, I'd rather do a regular round of a Decorate my home swap and not an upcycled one. If there is still interest in the regular round, and people would want me too, I could organize.
