My shoes were completely destroyed, but I'm way too cheap to buy new ones. So using an old plaid scarf and some mod podge I spiffed em up Cheesy I'm not sure how well the mod podge will hold up. But my shoes really couldn't get much worse haha. So here are the pics!

FINISHED PRODUCT!

OLD NASTYY

For some reason I decided to do tissue paper before I put the actual fabric on

I love plaid!

Update:
I was just looking at them and they reminded me of christmas. Do they look like christmas shoes?

My vans are also pretty much dead. I'm thinking of saving them in a similar way, too.   Cheesy

Really? God theres a mod poddge for everything. I was wondering if anyone knew what I could to to the white part like the sole of my shoe. Cause it's all stained but I don't really have anything to mod podge on it. And bleaching it doesn't really help to make it whiter.

Scrub a lot?

I usually toss my vans in the wash when they're starting to look a little dirty (hm, maybe I'm a little ocd? Tongue) and they come out sparkling. Obviously you don't want to do that with these in case the modge podge doesn't hold up, but soaking the bottoms in some water with a bit of laundry detergent might help.
