having seen the Aussie only swap, wondered if anyone would be interested in a UK only swap?  I love all the swaps, but finding that the postage can be expensive. Would also be fun to meet up, if we are close enough.

It could be 'normal' swap style, or ongoing wish list style, depending on what people are interested in.

Lets see what happens Cool

A UK swap sounds like a great idea.

A good way to get something like this going is to actually PM any swappers that you know of in the UK. In Australia we actually have an Aussie Craftsters Facebook page where we post regularly about our crafty lives. It has meant that many of us have become great friends, shopping trips, camping trips, sewing meetups etc.

^ Yes I'm the same, I might be interested but it would depend on the details of what is to actually be swapped.

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

W00t!

Thought this had died, so glad that it has been reserected Smiley

I would prefer a 'normal' swap either with a theme of some kind, or just a size requirment and themes to be organised between partners.

Actually I would love for someone to make me some toys for my boys, but know not everyone has children, or wants to craft for them, so throw your ideas into the ring!

I would be looking at starting sign ups in a couple of weeks, but will depend on how soon the 'stuff an envelope' swap finishes up, but also happy for someone else to organise if they want to.
