Some family members decided we were all going to do hand made gifts for Christmas this year.  Problem - I don't really craft.  Brother-in-law-ish is only interested in sports.  Nothing else.  I can do very basic painting, sewing, and knitting.  He doesn't seem particularly interested in crafty things but he doesn't have much choice since we're doing hand made.

Does he drink coffee or hot tea?  Make him a mug rug in sports themed material.  (tutorials all over the net)  For a no sew craft make him a knotted fringe fleece throw in his fav team.

I second the fleece throw/stadium blanket for his fav team.

You could also make a set of coffee mugs.  You can buy ceramic paint pens at craft/art stores (Michael's carries them) and decorate plain mugs with team logos.  You could do plates/ice cream/snack bowls too.  Maybe a Superbowl party set of platters and chip bowls decorated with his team's logo.

Another idea could be etched glass beer mugs.

If you knit then a hat or scarf in his team colors is another idea.

I third the fleece tie blanket. Probably the easiest. JoAnn's has lots of licensed fleece, though his specific team might not be available in the store so I'd get on that soon, if you have to order it.

Under the "Video" section here on Craftster, there are great tutorials that you could use to make things. Coasters, drinkware, magnets....

Good luck!
