Somebody PLEASE tell me what I can do with these!

Anyone have any suggestions for these? They appear to be some sort of Styrofoam, and i would assume dipped in paint or something for the various colors. Very light, so I assume they are SUPPOSED to be fillers in a vase of some kind, but Im thinking I can make something super crafty AND Christmas-y out of them!




Thoughts and suggestions?! Those tubes are about a foot tall at least! So lots to use!

depending on you enthusiasm and patience you could glue each one to a wreath in a pattern? or a bulb?

where did you get that from/how big are the individual balls?

You could string them and make something like a popcorn garland out of them?
i bet that would look great.

couldnt you use those for practically anything instead of glitter? theyre a bit bigger im sure but itd still work nicely. you could cast some in resin like people do with sprinkles as well.

I hadn't thought about stringing them! Maybe like with fishing line? Good Idea! They are about as big as a dime, except they are a fully sphere. I got them from my fiances mom, who got them from her friends attic we have no idea what they were used for originally!

I could put them IN one of those clear bulbs they have at the crafts store! Wonder how much they are going for these days...

They are pretty thick since they are complete spheres. Probably like the size of the end of your pinky-(Ish!) I'd LOVE to start putting stuff in resin, haven't quite learned that skill yet tho

I've tried glue gunning them onto something for a school project (as decorations) but they keep melting from the heat, so no more glue gunning them for me!

You could layer them on before or after the sequins or skip the sequins all together.

could be used for decoration purposes too … and I bet it would be so much lighter than these necklaces tend to be

I also like the idea of them inside clear ornaments. As you said they were styrofoam, it might be possible to squish them together to create a more solid filling? Maybe it would look interesting?

Use a foam tacky glue or glue dots when working with them. This way they wont melt
