looking into stash I had not seen in years ( yes still unpacking from previous house moves)  I found 1 yard habotai silk lilac want to make some sort of shawl/wrap in a plus size so what do I add to this to make it bigger , anyone any ideas ?  Smiley

Depending on how wide it is (if it's 60", say) I'd actually cut it in half and sew a seam up the center.  If it's 45", this may end up making it too narrow.  Alternately, you could add a coordinating chiffon to each end, and finish it with a silk ribbon or beaded trim.
