i hate my sewing machine.

so the tiny plastic bit that hold my spool of thread busted off.  any ideas on how to troubleshoot?  wondering if somebody makes a suction cup spool holder or something?

Anyone else having issues with USPS tracking?

One package says it's been in NH for days when it is suppose to be delivered today in NC. The other got scanned in the wrong town a day after I sent it out. It does now say it is in it's proper state but no PO or delivery scanning. I have been really frustrated with USPS for the past couple of months now.

I've been avoiding telling you, but Lana got her Hulabunny tee stained badly.  My daughter is awesome, but she is the female version of Pigpen from CB.  But she still loves her shirt!!  Thankfully her jacket is still in fantastic shape.  Phew.

georgia stains every shirt she has, normally on the first occasion of wearing it.  i should own stock in oxyclean.  we've been known to make pillows from beloved stained shirts.

Hehe, well that's somewhat comforting.  But we are so beyond oxyclean.    
Good luck with your sewing machine.  That is a great idea btw to use a suction cup..it will have to be a strong one.  How about taping a dowel to your machine?

Awww.  I had a few packages last month that took forever.  Like it would get misplaced/directed and not get back into the system until a week or so later.

Just so you know DC is NOT to be a tracking service. They are not required to scan it until it is del and that is it. Some do scan all the way others to do not but it is not meant to be a tracking service so you know. Most think it is however it is not.

Speaking of USPS, I sent a package out for another swap and it says they missent to the wrong USPS facility that is not able to deliver it to my artner. So even though it was supposed to be delivered today, probably not =(

Speaking of DCs...I'm thinking of printing my own labels to save $$ on them.  Anyone know where to get an affordable postage scale?

my dc packages always drive me nuts, because they never come with my regular mail.  i'll get them anywhere from 4-5 hours after my normal mail, which is an awful time for me to open and get pics because it's our crazy time of day.  rawr.
