Look at these!

The weather was beautiful and the pickin' was easy...so easy that I went a little overboard.  So I was going to do icecream, sauce, salad and maybe preserves.  Any other suggestions?

i live for strawberries! the greatest thing ever is to eat them in the morning with some yogurt and granola. mmm... Smiley

anyway, theres probably a way to work it into just about anything. pudding, cheesecake....ooh! pretzel salad! i love that stuff, and you use strawberries in the recipe. one thing i really love is making fruit kabobs, ive never tried it with strawberries, but im sure it would work!

besides, if you dont use them in a dish, you could always put it on top, like you would do with angel food cake or something.

(sorry if i dont have the greatest ideas, im an amateur..)

kinda gross, but get out nutella, marshmallow fluff and peanut butta, skewers for like baraba q ing, and the strawberrires, and mx and match them. i like to do a peanut a nutlella and a fluff then stick all 3 on a skewer and put it in a ba with a tie.....  Tongue

When I was in France, my host family and I went to a party where I had some whiskey that had strawberries in there. I don't know how long it had been macerating, but those strawberries (and the whiskey!) were delicious!! I live in an area where the strawberries at the stores are abysmal... I can't wait to live somewhere where fresh fruits and veggies are abundant during the summer.

for mothers day i made pancakes and this strawberry sauce thing. i heated cut up strawberries and alot of brown and white sugar on medium-high covered until it was like a sauce. i poured it over the pancakes and put a little whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. it was really good! i went strawberry picking yesterday, and we got about 16 litres of strawberries. yummy!
