Levi sees VERY few movies and no TV at all, but one of the things I let him watch was the Wizard of Oz.   And then the day after we found out that they were doing a play at the theater, so of course we had to go, and he needed a new outfit.  He LOVED it and sat through all 3+ hours mesmerized, and left the theater singing all the songs.

I didn't have time to make a new top, so the shirt is one I made for St. Patty's day, with a stencil of tin man added.
The pants are fully lined to cover all the stitching from the brick appliques (probably wouldn't bother Levi, but for me, it would be way too itchy)

(this is why I have to make all the clothes I make super durable, they see a lot of action!)

Sweet!  I like how the outfit is "inspired" vs a costume.
