This year is a handmade xmas.  We live in California, and are going home to Kentucky to have the Holiday
with family.  And after spending a bajillion dollars on our trip it had to be.  Any who, my oldest niece will be
turning 10 on Dec 23.  So I added a couple handmade gifts to her haul.  At 10 years old I wish I had this! lol
Anyways, my sister said her room will be done in purple and yellow, so I painted to match of course.

I used a bunch of those cheap wooden chop sticks.  I did not break them apart because they are super cheap
and didn't break apart evenly.  :\  But I think it turned out really well.  I am proud of it.  I plan one for my place
soon!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

Great idea! It has a very "modernized" 50's look

I would never have thought of chopsticks, but it was obviously a great idea! Wink

Thanks guys!

The only reason the thought of using the chopsticks crossed my mind is because I already had
them, and I am trying to use stuff I already have for the gifts.  Being a poor Military family has
it's set backs.  But everything is going well so far.  I hope she likes it. AND when she changes
the colors in her room she can tape off the mirror and paint them how ever she wants.
