Since my daughter bananaambush is teaching English in Korea for the next year or so, she won't be home for Christmas this year. I don't want to send her large items because 1. the postage would kill me, and 2. someday she'd have to pack it all up to come home. I've filled a box with small but meaningful items, but wanted to include a little something handmade. I'm sure she really won't be decorating her apartment, so I thought a little Christmas cheer in a matchbox would be just the ticket.

The outside is wrapped with scrapbook paper and a ribbon, and tiny silver stars:

The inside has the tiniest of bottlebrush trees and a teeny tiny little soldier standing in the glittery snow:

I hope when she sees this she'll know how much we love her.

It's lovely and such a sweet present. Maybe she won't feel so far from home when she opens it.
Also, I'm all for the hundred dollar bill...... Cheesy

Thanks for the thought, but she can't spend $100 there. She's going to have to take it plain.

In any case, it's going to cost me over $70 to mail the boots she bought and had delivered here. THAT'S her hundo.  Cheesy
