We have collected a huge amount of the little bottles that the test strips come in. My pastor wife mentioned using them as a mini sewing kit but how many of those does one person need. Anyone have any other ideas for crafts or kids crafts that they could be used for?  They are about 2 in tall about as big around as quarter and have a hinged air tight snap lid. Thanks

They don't just have to be sewing kits. They would make containers for all sorts of kits for kids (or even adults):
Outdoor survival kits with a fish hook & some line, matches, a compass in the lid e.t.c.
Fingerprint kits, with a card wrapped around the outside; a tiny brush and some fine powder on the inside.
Cross stitch card kits, roll the aida and the pattern inside & stuff the thread and a needle in the centre (point down!)
Jewellery kits: beads, findings and string together.

Of course they are containers for beads, sequins or anything tiny that needs keeping in line.

Do you do a lot of travelling/camping/picnicking, or know someone who does? Would containers for pepper, salt, herbs or spice mixes be useful?

My mum would use them as water containers for her outdoor watercolour expeditions.
