Ok, so one of my 12-year-old daughters mentioned that she would love a Harry Potter themed Christmas stocking this year. Being an avid HP fan, myself, inspiration isn't hard to find! Today, I managed to find exactly what I needed to make a replica of the Butterbeer cork necklace that Luna Lovegood wears in the movies. I think my blue beads are even almost the exact shade. Yay!

I'm thinking I can knit a hat like Hermione wears, knit a golden snitch like imtheasian1 did, make a Rita Skeeter Quill Pen... loads of other idea!

What a cute necklace and what a great idea!  How fun will that be?  My kids aren't that cool.  Wink

Sounds like you already have some fantastic ideas, but I'm sure a little time on here could give you more!  Cheesy  Saw some pretty cute HP charm bracelets on here fairly recently, and there have been a bazillion paper wands...

Did you make beaded ones? Or polymer clay? Or some other type?

I used polymer clay (Fimo). The earrings ended up being a little heavy, so if you try it out, I'd recommend making the radishes realllly small. Smiley Here's a photo of mine: http://instagr.am/p/F2pRh/?ref=nf

I would have loved to make the beaded ones though. (http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/features/crafts/jewelry/radishearrings5)
