I did poly it before I used it once and if any one does similar I would suggest a semi-gloss or gloss so you can see if day to day wear has taken off some off the protective coating.  

I wish I had this much skill with a pen but the art is from a greeting card, just traced and transfered.  So pretty much if you can trace the image and use a copier, you can put any image one the purse.  I haven't tried it with a color image yet but I understand if it is a laser copy, the image will transfer.

That purse is so CUTE!!!!!
I keep looking at the wooden purse supply section everytime I'm in JoAnns but I wasnt sure how easy it would be and wasnt sure what to do about the lining. It would be cool if you could post directions of the purseket. You have inspired me to try making a couple of those purses Smiley

I just painted the colored parts freehand.  
But when people who don't know anything about crafts ask, I'm told the proper answer is "Yes, I painted it all myself" and not give my explaination of how it was done.  LOL
