Another cool idea (which I saw in this month's issue of Budget Living) is to tack the game boards up on the wall as decoration. With a nice variety of vintage boards, it looked really cool. Unfortunately the website doesn't have any photos.

(And no, I don't work for the magazine-- so I am not trying to make you run out and buy it!  Wink )

Or.....I have seen people turn the scrabble board letters into magnets by gluing magnets on the back. Hang the board on the wall and you have an instant message board!

I just saw an old episode of Room by Room where they made a large hallway into a game "room". very  fun ideas. game boards on the walls, and a large diamond paint technique which used wooden checkers to accent the mid-points ! wish i knew the episode # now.

An answer from Heaven has just fallen into my lap,

I won a beautiful Six Million Dollar Man board game from eBay and now my friends, I know EXACTLY what to do with it.

Thank you (sniff) I'm getting all vah-mished...
