I made this a couple of weeks ago for a charity drive we have here in Australia - she is a topsy turvy doll, sleeping on one end & awake on the other.
Her face is embroidered & her bed is a reclaimed doll's bed from the thrift store that used to be brown & had an awful pink & lace canopy. All of the materials for this doll actually came from my fabric stash, which you can probably tell consists mostly of vintage sheets!
She was much harder to make on a small scale than I thought she'd be, I couldn't find a decent tutorial online so I really just winged it, but I love how she turned out & I hope she makes a little girl smile who could really do with one.

Thanks for looking!

she's great! I love those dolls. Smiley Also I think that fabric you used for the blanket (in the second pic) was used by my gran to make me pyjamas when I was little! A little bit of nostalgia! Smiley

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

Thanks! I am glad she went off to another home, hopefully where she'll be appreciated - I know if she'd stayed here she would have been ruined pretty quickly!

This is so wonderful!! The way you made her flip around change moods is brilliant!! Your vintage sheet collection must be amazing. It's the perfect fabric for this project.

This is ace.  As a little girl I was fascinated by topsy-turvy dolls!  Great fabrics, and I love the big pile of duvets - I so wish I had a bed like that  Wink
