What a smart idea! And looks fantastic! I'm not too fuzzed about Christmas decoration and Christmas trees, but even without children I could be tempted by your tree!

LOVE this! I'm getting so many ideas in my head, cutting out animals from fabric for a nursery, birds flying and put it over my couch. Thanks for the inspiration!

Mom would have loved this idea when we were little!  She got so tired of picking up the tree when she had 3 kids under 5 years old that she finally put the Christmas tree in the playpen where it was safe - LOL - and sad to say it was a family tradition (necessity?) for many years as there were eventually 7 of us kids!.
This really looks great on your walls.

Very clever!  I have used liquid starch to put up fabric on the wall with no issues at all upon removal...

The spray starch would be way easier and less messy for holding up small pieces!

Thanks for sharing...lovely job on both the tree and wreath...and I certainly will use this idea for other holidays as well!

I LOVE this!!! So creative! how did you make your circles?

I just traced around a few different sized things like a tin & a cup etc & cut them out.

To the poster above who said she had all sorts of ideas about cutting out animals etc... I HEAR YOU! I fear my house is going to end up covered in starch & fabric!
