Melted crayon painting- Phoenix

I really liked the melted crayon art but I wanted to take it to a whole different level.  
Here is my "Phoenix".  Wax and acrylic on 18"x24" canvas.

this is fantastic. nowadays i'm seeing a lot of melted crayon art, but they are all really simple.
clearly, you had great control over your medium in this. truthfully, i would've gotten way too frustrated to finish a project like this haha

so i guess what i'm trying to say is... AWESOME

That is amazing! How did you do it, the whole melting and controlling the flows and stuff? Really really nice! I bet it looks even better in person, when you can see the texture better!
