I took an awesome class on fusing argentium wire to make jewelry. I absolutely loved it! Here is what I made:

Necklace and earrings set




rustic necklace with labradorite


pendants and 2 bracelets. I did not fabricate the cones and toggle.


I love this technique! We used a torch and kiln brick to fuse the wire, and various hammers to shape and texturize the pieces. I want to get the equipment to use at home now. This lot used about 3 feet of wire. Argentium is like sterling, but with germanium added to the silver for hardness, rather than copper. It's strong and tarnish-resistant, and fuses more easily that fine silver.
