I'm still pretty new to crochet but I've just finished my first baby blanket so I thought I'd share! It's pretty big for a baby blanket, big enough to snuggle up in for years hopefully Smiley I used the ripple pattern from Attic 24, with Stylecraft DK yarn in a random pattern of colours. I'm really pleased with how it's turned out, I love this new hobby! There are lots more pics on my blog (it's my first - I took lots!)

This is beautiful! I love the bright colors. I love that you did it bigger than a traditional baby blanket. I always seem to do mine bigger, on purpose, and they always get some wonderful use. Are you going to be giving it as a gift or keeping it? Either way, beautiful work!  Cheesy

Thanks  Smiley It's for my newest nephew, he was born three weeks ago but we're going to visit him on Monday so I'll take it along then. Hope they like it!

Beautiful!  I love the ripple pattern.  How long did it take?

I have lots of train tickets (I get the train most days), if anyone wants some for papercrafting just send me a PM Smiley

It took me about a month but I wasn't working on it continuously - it could have been finished much more quickly  Smiley I actually miss it now!
