It's been awhile since I posted.
A friend commissioned me to make a doll for her cousin's 1st birthday.

She's about 14in tall and made from cotton and poly-fil. Her boots and collar are made from minky. Her skirt is sewn on.

Her cheeks are blushed with non-toxic colored pencil, and I figured out a new way to embroider eyes!

I honestly think she is the smoothest doll I've made recently, even after a set back with remaking her. Her initial skirt concept did not work as well a I had wanted.

It's funny because up until recently, I've been trying to push my pattern making to be more complex, and with this doll, I think I've found my happy medium in the land of patterns.

Thanks for looking! Please feel free to ask me anything. Smiley

I love her! Are her pony tails sewed into the side seams?

Thank you!

@Momof2!

Her ponytails are sewn in at the side seams. I just put them in like limbs. They're flat here, but sometimes I like to add a bit of fluff to them. Smiley
