Woo. I haven't been here in a while, but I see that some fabulous packages have come in. I really like the embroidery of The Princess and the Pea. My package for mama24boyz must still be making the trek to Canada. The waiting game is no fun.

I have received from Averia!

Her crafts were so well made and thoughtful it was unbelievable! But just so you'll believe me I have some pictures. Please excuse the background in the pictures I rushed outside a few moments ago as soon as I received them to snap them in the last light of the day.

Here's everything:


I know, I'm very lucky, she went above and beyond the call of duty/craftster  

She embroidered two tea towels but I just took photos of the embroidery because I couldn't fit each one in and show details of her stitching skills at the same time. She especially made one with an Alice in Wonderland theme for my sister and she can't know how perfect that is, but my sister has just moved into a new house and would love nothing more than a tea towel that's actually cool!




a very cleverly made organiser (picture it folded in half so both sides of little pockets are usable)


since we both like Firefly (actually Mum may also be fighting for this) she actually stitched this for me with tiny little perfect stitches


And last but not least, just look at this. She asked if I wanted anything crafted for anyone else and I said my Mum wrote a poem about the Hobart Bellrigers as part of a writing project and something to commemorate that experience would be fantastic. So look what she made:



She printed Mums poem onto fabric and the Hobart Bellringers logo and she embroidered intricate embroidery down the sides. I'm going to give this to Mum as part of her Christmas present and she is going to be so overwhelmed and hang it up in her writing room and love it always.
Oh and I'm eating the chocolates she sent right now instead of dinner and they're delicious

Aww thanks for the kind words special_occasion! The organizer fits over a mug - Sorry for not shipping a mug to go with it, but I figured you just might have one lying around somewhere. Yay for the package arriving before Christmas! I was a bit worried.
