They look very nice.  My brother used to make them whenever my mom had a shower, but he used a pineapple to stick them on.  He made lot's of melon balls, as well as grapes and strawberries etc.

YAY!!!! those are so pretty!   my daughters' teacher makes a similar arrangement for their Christmas Writing Festival. she makes it with kiwi, strawberries and white grapes. now i know how to make my own!  Thank you!!

That's nifty Cheesy  Think I might have a go at making one with fresh berries.  Or truffles.  Hehehe... 

When you say it's a foam tree, do you mean the white craft styrofoam, or the stinky green 'oasis' stuff that florists use?

I've had this bookmarked for a long time just waiting for the right time to try it.  Well today that time arrived.  I was helping a friend with her son's wedding shower and I offered to do the fruit.  I made two trees, one with strawberries and topped with blackberries and one with grapes and blackberries.  They were a huge hit!!  No one had ever seen anything like it.
