I'd like to give a follow up on my Alice in Wonderland bracelet that I introduced in this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=384066.msg4548320#msg4548320

After a little wear, I wasn't happy with the bracelet. I broke the clasp twice and the bracelet was very loose and clunky feeling. I decided to take the wire wrapped clasp completely off and use elastic.

After a little inspiration from Fairygoodthings' design found in this thread http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=386747.0 I decided to make another bracelet full of my favorite heroes woven together with black elastic cord and knotted multiple times at the ends.

I had some many heroes and favorite images, I had trouble deciding which eight to use, so I made it reversible which honestly might be pushing the strength of the elastic a bit.

Here are the heroes I used: She-Ra (four different images), Spider-Woman (two images, one retro one modern), Wonder Woman (two images, one retro one modern), Rogue (two images, one 80s retro, one modern), 80's Storm, Emma Frost, Jean Grey, Scarab, Kabuki, and retro She-Hulk.

I'm happy with these bracelets; they are very comfortable. Worn together, they look like Wonder Woman's cuffs. Maybe next time, I'll paint the tiles yellow to create them as well.

I'd love some feedback.

I had so many great Santa pictures to pick from but I didn't want to make dozens of pendants, so I made a Santa bracelet instead. My sister-in-law collects Santas and I think she'd love this.

This one is a little bigger, by one tile and it's not reversible. It should be sturdy slightly bigger because there's less likelihood of over stretching the elastic.

Oh I like that santa one. My dad collects santas too, but despite his bad fashion sense I still don't think he'd wear a bracelet like that lol. Hmmmm maybe I can do something like this and then put it around the bottom of a xmas candle (his wife collects candles), I'm gonna have to see if I can find some bamboo tiles and play around with it.
