Thanks, I am very happy with how it turned out. I still have a lot of mushrooms left over for another one. Maybe a different style......... I kind of wanted a bouquet look.

My daughter is an environmental science major in college and she would love this for a centerpiece. She, like myself, is very much into the natural stuff.

This is awesome! I have a blog, and I wrote an article which included examples of awesome things to do with hot glue, and this one what i used. But also, when I was little my family used to collect things in the fall and make a centerpiece for Christmas with all of the seed pods and nuts and leaves and mushrooms and stuff, and seeing this reminded me of that. So I wrote another blog post about that experience, and I'd like to put a picture of your project up there, if you don't mind. The address is http://sticktoyourglueguns.wordpress.com/2012/12/20/fall-collection-in-swing/ . I was also wondering, how long did this table art last? Did the mushrooms eventually shrivel or rot, or did they stay cool-looking for a while?
