I have been searching for about a week now for a pattern for a Charizard hat.  My boyfriend found a fleece one at an anime convention a few months ago and I managed to talk him out of spending $20 on it.

I'm relatively new to crochet, but I feel as if I could take the challenge of making one.  I don't feel confident in my skills enough to try to create my own pattern for one.

Anyone have any suggestions?

1st, go and register on Ravelry, it's free and there's alot of pattern there and tons of helpfull people.

I didn't find a specific Charizard hat pattern but you can try to modify pattern like these by playing with the stitches and add more or less, do increase and decrease. Once you know the basic stitches, it's just a matter of playing around with them to get what you want. You'll mess up and unravel but you'll get there eventually, just be patient Wink
