About seven years ago my mom met my (future) step-dad at Auto-Zone when our truck broke down. They got married by the court on a fresh December day about six years ago. And finally on October the 8th, 2011, they were finally married by the church. Cheesy The hall my mom had booked, was from our church. It wasn't the best looking place, but with the help of my five siblings, some friends of the family, my brother's girlfriend, and my sister's fiance, we were able to successfully decorate the hall in the day before the wedding.

The tables were covered with white and had different colored ribbons in the middle. All of the tables were different! The centerpieces were vases filled with lemons and homemade flowers (I helped make over half of them; took forever Wink)
The little boxes at the top were origami boxes. There were lunch bags (purchased from the dollar store) with LED's (Hobby Lobby) inside of them, above the dance floor (which made it look really cool once the lights were off)
The squares on the wall are pretty much Scrapbook paper in top of some type of wood (I think) bought at Home Depot. We were able to keep them up with carpet tape.
The guests loved the decorations so much Cheesy
Here are the before pictures to compare:

And finally here's one of the bride: (Isn't she pretty Cheesy?)

Oh! And here are the websites we got our ideas from:

What a great story, and the hall looks great!
Best wishes to them!

Well done. That looks a lot better than the original hall.  Your hard work really paid off. And thanks for the picture of the lovely bride too.
