The idea for this swap was about fabric jewelry--it's not sad because there's some great things to make--did you give a click to the link that Leslie posted? There are very good tutorials there. And, remember--and I encourage as many swappers to consider this--you can start a swap. It takes some organization--but Craftster has really done an awesome job setting it all up and there are boards and swap mods to help.

Don't be offended...I'm a preschool teacher and we use that 'so sad' whenever we're disappointed.   Roll Eyes

I had a bit of a disaster at the end of the last swap I co-organized...I don't want to dip my toes in the water again at the moment.

I'll have to keep my eye out for another awesome swap you guys do that I can join.  Cheesy

**bounces around, noisily stalking the thread**

And, I suppose, stalking the fabric, and the scissors, and wondering where the needles are (I recently finished moving, so I only know where /some/ of my craft supplies are!)

LHH - I did check out that link - wow, lots of good ideas for novices like me at making fabric jewelry!  But, I think I can make several of those things - well, and I have made a couple of fabric cuff bracelets, and I have lots more ideas for those - also, I didn't read all the link's ideas, but I thought of braiding fabric for a bracelet - I have an idea to embellish something like that with some sewing action!  You and Susan are good inspiration for me to try stuff - thanks for the opportunity to branch out into something really fun.  Back to my work on a Christmas baby quilt that I will finish tonight!  Smiley

I'm SO doing this swap!

I will be making some kanzashi flower jewelry and I would encourage anyone to give it a try. It doesn't require much fabric so it's perfect for those leftover scraps that are too cute to throw away.  Grin
