katara...I saw that you were making sock monkeys again!  I would stuff the arms and legs and leave about an inch unfilled at the ends...pin them to the body and squish them togethe.to the inside of the body...sew the body together leaving a hole at the top or bottom of the body...turn inside out, stuff the body and then you only have the one opening to sew inside of all the arms and legs...You can do the same with the tale if you make the back two parts...that is how I do stuffies like that as I hate to hand sew!!

Alwaysinmyroom - I'm not quite sure what you mean... The body doesn't have any side seams??

I will try to find the one I used with almost no hand sewing at all! I don't even think I sewed the ears on by hand and just a tiny part of the mouth...I should just make one and take pictures... Cheesy

yofi - what yarn did you use for the owl cowl? I love it!

fantasticmio - you must love your mom to pieces!

Here's what I accomplished this weekend - 5 batches of cookies! We have cut-out cookies, peanut butter blossoms, gingerbread men, cranberry almond biscotti and cherry chocolate chip biscotti. I also got to try out this gigantic (like, 8"!) snowflake cookie cutter I bought on sale after Christmas last year. Smiley

Love those cookies, indigo_roses, especially the snowflake.  (I've got to get busy tonight on baking!)

The yarn in the Owl Cowl (that *is* fun to say that!) is Red Heart Boutique Eclipse, in the sunset color.  I've still got a skein and am going to try and make a matching pair of mitts -- I think alwaysinmyroom posted a pair a few pages back!

This is Carol, Christmas Carol  Cheesy Made for my parents as a holiday gift. I made her festive so they can pack her away at the end of the hols and not feel obliged to have her on show all year round  Roll Eyes
I wish I could get better pics but I use my cell phone.

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best

Indigo_roses---those cookies look so yummy!  That is one HUGE snowflake!  wow...I bet they are going to be a hit!

Silvermoon--you are so good at following and crossing off on your mini-list!  All of your Dr. Who crochet items are fabulous!  I still have not quite finished my hat and matching mitts...probably next year!

K-star--oh my gosh...the expression on your doll is fabulous...she does look like she is singing!!! With joy in her heart!
You are getting so good at making them, yet they retain a very artsy feel to them...I love this one the best!

The doll clothes are so cute, love the apron ehinders.

kstarr, your singer is awesome. I've always loved when singing figures have real words in their books.

SilverMoon teddy looks warm and cute and the Dalek! Aahk!  Too great.

indigo-roses, oohhh, cookies. The snowflake ones are so pretty.
