thanks always! I just used pictures I got from this website: http://tpettit.best.vwh.net/dolls/pd_scans/betsy_mccall/index.html Super cute vintage stuff.

I just realized I need to put my Christmas Mini-list on here:

  • doll cloths for niece
  • casserole carrier for mil
  • kindle cover for brother
  • plaque with saying on for mom
  • felt board for DD

Another quick project for me...  Buffet pad made of chalkboard fabric.

I'm giving away some of this fabric as part of the Quilting Gallery Blog Hop.  http://twasbrilligand.blogspot.com/2012/12/give-away-time.html
You can get a link to the rest of the give aways from my page.

An update of some of the most recent items I have made...

Dog tag. My first shrinky dink project. It's not perfect, but I now see why people like them! I did the homemade version with #6 plastic.

Heart Crayons for my Niece. Hopefully given at Xmas. They didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, but I think it is because I raised the temp too high.

Jewelry Roll for my sister-in-law's birthday coming up. The zippers are grey, but I had to use the flash so you could see the various shades in the fabric.

Crocheted Market Bag also for my SIL but for Xmas. I liked how that pattern involved a flower on the bottom.

I will post pics of the other items at another time.

Amazing stuff guys! It's getting hard to keep up!! Especially since I've been sucked into the Game of Thrones series - I wish there was a way I could read and craft at the same time.

At any rate, a little present I mailed out was received so I can share  Cheesy

Vera Verto Rat Goblet ornaments, from Harry Potter!!

I cobbled together a couple of different patterns and included them here if you want to try to make your own.

I think crochet is way easier to learn than knitting (that's just me though, I've heard other people say the other way around); I taught myself most of what I know. This was pretty basic to put together, youtube is awesome to show you how the stitches work in action if diagrams don't help.

I used to knit, but it's been years and I've forgotten everything I used to know!

I think I found my new years resolution Wink
