Here's a couple items I sent to hawkeyes_girl in a recent personal swap.

Hand-dyed wrap skirt. My son helped with the dyeing, we had a blast making it:

And a TM-inspired coin purse. All hand-dyed fabric.

Nice bright hat, k-star!

such lovely fabrics, abbeeroad!  What type of dye did you use?  The skirt is really a nice design, too!

Love that wrap skirt Abbie, is it the ice dyeing that you did?

Thanks guys. The dye is just RIT (maybe some Dylon or Tulip thrown in...all available at retail stores like Walmart).

We dyed the skirt using squirt bottles. Here's a pic of DJ squirting some dye on.

I scrunched it in a bucket for a while to help the colors spread and then washed it. It came out more purple than I had hoped, but still pretty cool.

That looked like great fun Abbie!  Grin

I'm not counting this as a project yet, I just wanted some feedback from you guys.
I'm not sure if this one is a YAY or a NAY.
Xmas wreath tree ornaments made from yarn, sequins and curtain pole rings, approx 2" across. Honest opinons sought please  Smiley
I know I need to clean up my glue technique but this one was just my trial piece.
