I've been so inspired by all the Holiday crafts going on that I decided to make some cards. They are 'Litha' disguised Xmas cards. I live in the Southern Hemisphere so the Summer Solstice is on its merry way!






Am hoping to make a few more tomorrow. And maybe fold some envelopes too.

A lot of really amazing crafting going on around here! I'm plugging away at a rather large project for the Dia de los Muertos swap, I believe I'm kinda crazy for tackling this one. 

Other than that not much going on craft wise, I made a new bed for my puppy Lola's crate. Nothing exciting, just the same pink and white polka dot fleece as before. Last time I stuffed it with scraps of old shirts and socks because I wanted to reuse stuff and I was afraid she would chew it and I didn't want her eating Polyfill. But that thing took forever to dry! So the new one is Polyfill.

Oh, and my friend will be teaching me to crochet next Sunday, I'm very excited because I love yarn crafts but knitting and I didn't get along too well.

I've been papercrafting again (well as much as you can call it that - it's nowhere as good as the papercrafts I see on here). Here are two card for DH's bday. One from me and one from our son. I got the idea on my son's from pintrest.

I'm playing the Harry Potter Knitting and Crochet House Cup over on Ravelry and earlier this month as part of Quidditch we had a hat challenge.  The idea was to see how many hats you could make in exactly 7 days.

Here was my final count:


That's 47 hats, mostly child size (adult size is in the left column), and all for charity, for a cool 940 points for Gryffindor!
