I am the lucky recipient of the lady on the left.  Thanks again, jillybeans!

I'm glad you like her!  ^_^  I'm also glad you decided to play with us in the Surpirse Halloween ATC Swap!  Its a really fun version of ATC swapping!  Though if we've turned you on to the fun world of ATC trading, you should consider joining the Ongoing ATC swap.  The organizer is totally nice, I promise!  ^_^  Plus, you can determine your level of participation.  One month I claimed like 26 ATCs and another as little as 4.  Its pretty fun!

I have enjoyed your ATC swaps, jillybeans!  I really like how you used cheesecloth in the set above!

waggonswest--thanks for a simple and fast way to hang quilts...the loops on back tend to make the quilts flop on top!

I have managed to squeeze in a few simple projects:

Scrap/thread baskets for my crafting areas--why didn't I make these sooner?  They are easy--I used this tutorial by chickybiker
ScrapBasket:

In action by my embroidery machine:

Bug placemats for MareMare's September birthday:
I used a simple jar pattern.

I loved this bug fabric...and these were really for her and her darling nephews...boys love bugs, right?

Fabric bowl covers--a great way to go green and have pretty covers!  These were for a birthday swap!

Yet another jar lid pincushion;  I will never run out of jar lids...Cheesy

That brings me up to 92 projects...

I just joined a MysteryQuilt swap so I will be busy with that...if anyone wants to join in the fun, the clues start TOMORROW!

Love your projects, alwaysinmyroom!  They are so useful and practical while being pretty and crafty.  I love the idea of a jar mug rug, I'm so very gonna steal that.

Thanks! The jars are so easy to make!  You can do them just about any size as well...Wouldn't they be cute with Halloween creepy crawlers in the jars? Wink

I just realized that the bowl cover fabrics I have been using were all scraps from aprons I have made....I never took pictures because they went to my 3D friends! Grin  My friend Andrea is an excellent Italian cook and got the pasta and breads apron; my friend Anne is a wine connoisseur and got the wine bottle apron.  So I guess that means I am really up to 94 projects!  YAY!

3D friends?....!! OOO! HAHAHAH to funny Grin

Those fabric baskets are such a good idea.  I'll need to remember those when I get to the "I need some places to put things" part of setting up my craft room.  And the pin cushion jar lid is so cute Grin

I have not posted in here in a long time (and I still need to update my list!) but I have been working on things. I just finished spinning up this yarn over the weekend. I still have more of the roving so started doing another spindle worth to try plying with. Done on a drop spindle. Button is 1" size to show yarn thickness. I have no idea how much yarn is here.

So much better than my first attempt which was ultra thick (barely spun) to super thin (almost breaking). This yarn is pretty even with only a few thin spots. Finally getting the hang of it. Yay.

What pretty colors!  It is hard to get an even thickness...but, a lot of knitters now like that about yarn, so just call it "thick and thin hand spun" and collect mucho money for it! Grin

I just finished one of my 50.  My daughter asked me to make her a sleep mask, she selected the fabric.  It has a really soft fleece on the back.

And I posted a tutorial for a Halloween patchwork bag.  It won a ribbon at our county fair.
