I've been designing. I've had a lot of requests to remake the Jareth I made for last year's Labyrinth swap, but he is very time intensive, and not everyone can afford the $70 I've been told I should be selling them for. (Told by the gallery owner, when she refused to pay me only $50 for her comissioned one)

So I whipped up this little guy, who takes me one day, not a week, so will be a bit more affordable.

Does anyone have any tips on making faces from felt? I don't usually use felt, and it's pilling and not sticking well - what glue is good for yarn and felt?

Oh, and my suprise swap partner received so I can share this too:

That Jareth ami is amazing SilverMoon!!  Love it & want it Smiley

I've given up on trying to find a glue that works with felt...  I usually just sew it on with matching thread or use black embroidery for things like eyes - attaching the pieces with stitches that then make the iris &/or eyelashes.  Hope that's helpful Smiley

Jareth looks awesome! In my experience felt just doesn't glue well.  Tongue

I made my own eye make-up remover and reusable flannel make-up remover pads.

Love the crocheted snowflakes.

I can't believe that autumn is finally here.  I've been picking acorns for my crafting.  YAY!

Back from my long vacation!  Good to be home!

I see you guys have been busy busy busy!

QNM--love your little ornaments!  I saw your post in the swap and know your partner loved everything!  The hoop is also wonderful!  Is the homemade eye make-up remover good for sensitive skin?

Mellybelly--what an adorable way to break the news!  I think several mods, past and present, are having babies the same time as you so I am very excited!  I think I need to start now making baby quilts! Cheesy

zombielili--how in the world do you manage making such tiny tiny amigurumi?  That is the tiniest bunny ever!

k-star--your crochet ornaments are lovely and make me look forward to the holidays!

trina--your crow art is lovely...you do so much to make your home personal to you...I want to be braver this year with my interior decorating...

silvermoon--wow--those yarn colors are so bright and lovely...I have had no problems washing my wool yarns...you just have to use cool water and not squeeze or agitate...so worth it...I love your owl, too...I want to learn that stitch...if you look up member birdbones, she has a terrific tutorial on making non-felt details...she uses shipping tape and drawings to get a crisp, detailed look...you could try it to see if it will work with crochet...

melerrific--I would say that you did a great job on your list!

bookstorebabe---love the background of your pirate emergency case! Grin

Thank you Always. I'm going to have to make the entire cast of Adventure Time for our tree this year I think.

The eye make-up remover is just water, tear free shampoo and a little baby oil. The recipe calls for coconut oil which may be better for sensitive skin but I just used what I had and it works great for me.  Smiley
