I swore I was going to keep up on everyone's projects, then I blinked and it was the end of August.  I miss the days I was a hermit, and didn't have a house to repair (it tried to kill us, again, with another gas leak... I don't know why it hates us so!).

But!  This time I went through all the pictures with a Word doc open because every time I think I can remember who did what to post something, I don't.  Brain like a sieve, I have...

sarahj2001 – Can’t believe you have the patience to crochet those tire covers!  They look great!

smashu – All of your stuff is always so amazing.  I would love to learn to silkscreen (among so many other things, that’s the problem!).

SilverMoon – Nice wrist warmers!  That’s a project I’ve been meaning to try forever.  You were way too productive, though!

…later – I gasped aloud and got the biggest grin when I saw the bowl of petunias and the sign! 

MissingWillow – Oooh, all that food looks amazing!  And that Advent Calendar is awesome!

jillybeans – Those peg people are adorable!  And I love the ATCs!

fantasticmio – wow, that’s a lot of dishcloths!  Amazing!

kriSmith – Nice notebook cover!  I have an idea for a Teesha Moore cover, but I hear once you get started you can’t stop…

sheepBlue – Love those screenprinted shirts!  And all those Teesha Moore patches.  I so need to try those!

QueenNinjaMonkey – Those zombie nesting dolls were awesome. 

that1girl – That MLP mug is so cute!  And congrats on all the ribbons!

Kookaloo_Starr – well done on the skirt!  The thing that gets me about the decorative stitching is that you’re going around a seam that’s already been stitched, and it makes it feel 10x longer than it was at first.  And then to do multiple rounds…  go you!

indigo_roses – That shawl is amazing!

alwaysinmyroom Wow, that mixed fabric/crochet project look neat, I never would have thought of doing that, but it makes sense…  but I didn’t need more things to try!  ~.^  And I love the cowl.

skittlebub – Wow, even for a few months, that’s super productive!  Love all the embroidery!

As for my August crafting...

1. Fish cross-stitch hoop for my mom (WIP)
2. Knitted fish hat for my mom (WIP) - I'm seeing a theme here...
3. Stuffed unicorn toy that has been unfinished for years, poor thing (WIP)
4. Dyed silk veil(s) for bellydance (I'm re-dying one, but I don't think that counts as a WIP)
5. That silly little zipped ribbon pouch that has been sitting half-finished on my desk for MONTHS (obviously, WIP).  I'm so tired of looking at it.  :/

*sigh*  I'd forgotten what was on my list and feel bad about the stuffed unicorn.  That stupid little pouch stares at me every day, though, I just can't bring myself to finish it!  Anyway, this month's projects:

OK, I'm ready to write down my August list!!!

.... What!?!  August is over?  How on Earth did that happen?

So I didn't actually do an August mini list, but I loved the idea. And as I have a lot to get done in September for my husbands birthday on the 25th, I think I'll make a mini list now. (And of course almost none of it is on my 50 things list  .)

I went through the list of members of this craftalong very quickly to mark everyone ACTIVE...I have to go through more carefully later tonight, so I am only through the C's...if you have not updated your list in the last three months, I consider you inactive (I am using the "last edited" to get the dates)....please let me know if you should be active...there will be a special drawing in September for active members while I tally for the July and August prize winners!!!
