I swore I was going to keep up on everyone's projects, then I blinked and it was the end of August.  I miss the days I was a hermit, and didn't have a house to repair (it tried to kill us, again, with another gas leak... I don't know why it hates us so!).

But!  This time I went through all the pictures with a Word doc open because every time I think I can remember who did what to post something, I don't.  Brain like a sieve, I have...

sarahj2001 Cant believe you have the patience to crochet those tire covers!  They look great!

smashu All of your stuff is always so amazing.  I would love to learn to silkscreen (among so many other things, thats the problem!).

SilverMoon Nice wrist warmers!  Thats a project Ive been meaning to try forever.  You were way too productive, though!

later I gasped aloud and got the biggest grin when I saw the bowl of petunias and the sign!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

MissingWillow Oooh, all that food looks amazing!  And that Advent Calendar is awesome!

jillybeans Those peg people are adorable!  And I love the ATCs!

fantasticmio wow, thats a lot of dishcloths!  Amazing!

kriSmith Nice notebook cover!  I have an idea for a Teesha Moore cover, but I hear once you get started you cant stop

sheepBlue Love those screenprinted shirts!  And all those Teesha Moore patches.  I so need to try those!

QueenNinjaMonkey Those zombie nesting dolls were awesome.  Cheesy

that1girl That MLP mug is so cute!  And congrats on all the ribbons!

Kookaloo_Starr well done on the skirt!  The thing that gets me about the decorative stitching is that youre going around a seam thats already been stitched, and it makes it feel 10x longer than it was at first.  And then to do multiple rounds  go you!

indigo_roses That shawl is amazing!

alwaysinmyroom Wow, that mixed fabric/crochet project look neat, I never would have thought of doing that, but it makes sense  but I didnt need more things to try!  ~.^  And I love the cowl.

skittlebub Wow, even for a few months, thats super productive!  Love all the embroidery!

Abbeeroad Very pretty charm bracelet!

As for my August crafting...

1. Fish cross-stitch hoop for my mom (WIP)
2. Knitted fish hat for my mom (WIP) - I'm seeing a theme here...

3. Stuffed unicorn toy that has been unfinished for years, poor thing (WIP)
4. Dyed silk veil(s) for bellydance (I'm re-dying one, but I don't think that counts as a WIP)
5. That silly little zipped ribbon pouch that has been sitting half-finished on my desk for MONTHS (obviously, WIP).  I'm so tired of looking at it.  :/

*sigh*  I'd forgotten what was on my list and feel bad about the stuffed unicorn.  That stupid little pouch stares at me every day, though, I just can't bring myself to finish it!  Anyway, this month's projects:

51. Zombie Cross Stitch Hoop for swap:

52. Veil and Yarn Dying party!  I actually overdyed a veil I'd done before, but I gave it to a friend before I got a picture of it.  (This, I'm pretty sure, is her wearing it: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3824782891108&set=t.100000233301230&type=3&theater, or one that looks AWFULLY like it!)

53. Fish Cross Stitch Hoop!

54. Mending a coin belt for a friend, before and after photos:

(I can tell all the areas I fixed, but everyone else swears it's hardly noticeable)

55. Champagne Cork Mice and Chairs

56. Fish Hat

57. Light Blue Crown

58. Red Crown

59. Multi Colored crown and rainbow hair ribbons (was going to wear to RenFest with my rainbow skirt, but no one else wants to go on bellydancer weekend, so... maybe next year).

I do that with a "post reply" form open in a second tab.  Grin

And I love your dyeing and the rainbow stuff. *sigh* So many prettys.

So I didn't actually do an August mini list, but I loved the idea. And as I have a lot to get done in September for my husbands birthday on the 25th, I think I'll make a mini list now. (And of course almost none of it is on my 50 things list  Tongue.)

1. Leveling Up T'shirt
2. 3D Beemo Perler Bead Box
3. Minecraft Grass Block with shovel out of Perler Beads
4. Zelda Themed Peler Checkers
5. Zelda Perler Coasters
6. Chrono Trigger Perler Coasters
7. Tardis box out of Peler Beads
8. Bow ties are cool hoop
9. Mario themed hoops
10. Chinese inspired watercolors
11. Beemo Hoop (heavily inspired by one someone posted here on Craftster)
12. Asian inspired hoops
13. Chinese Needle Punch
14. Zelda master key key chain

I very highly doubt I will get it all complete, but anything not done can be shifted to Christmas.

I went through the list of members of this craftalong very quickly to mark everyone ACTIVE...I have to go through more carefully later tonight, so I am only through the C's...if you have not updated your list in the last three months, I consider you inactive (I am using the "last edited" to get the dates)....please let me know if you should be active...there will be a special drawing in September for active members while I tally for the July and August prize winners!!!

Smeddley--your yarns are gorgeous...and I am jealous of that coin belt...
