Glitter skulls sounds like a fun project!

What a cute runner!

lol--I first thought you meant you were taking a picture of the real hurricane in Louisiana! Cheesy

doh!  hurricane glass project!

As I was typing that - I was thinking "I hope they don't think I mean Isaac" LOL Smiley
The glitter skulls are SO easy and my nephew, when I took out the jar of glitter, told me "I YOVE GITTER!" I think I need to glitter up more things. Cause I too yove gitter Smiley

Well, for me August officially ended an hour and a half ago, and I didn't complete my list.
At least I have a very cute excuse Smiley
I did complete 5 more beaded necklaces, which was the second item on mt mini list. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.
I think I'll try again this month, since I have less of an excuse now.

all of you who managed to complete your lists or at least do some are so amazing. All your stuff is so cool. I love the wordy hoopla - I agree your partner was super lucky to get such a long quote. I also loved the green hat, will have to remember to bookmark the pattern.

I got nothing completed (but I now have another WIP) but I always said my list was ambitious so I guess I can't be too disappointed. I still think mini lists are a good way of focussing, because those things were the things I spent time on, instead of picking up a new project every other day! I also started working (part time) for the first time in over a year so I didn't have as much time as I used to. Oh and I found out I was pregnant, so morning sickness has cut into what was left of my free time Cheesy

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

August isn't over yet, so I'm making my list now!!

1: Recipe book for a swap done 8/28
2: Cutlery holder for a swap done 8/28
3: Spin & ply 2 oz. of wool for a swap Done 8/26
4: Try a new recipe: Stuffed artichokes Eeeek!! Done 8/31... but just realized I forgot to take a pic! It's gone now. This was a major undertaking... my first time cooking an artichoke and my first time eating one. Thank God for Google. LOL.
5: 2 quilt blocks for a quilting guild raffle quilt

Most of these I need done within the next few days, so hopefully I can get it all done!

Edit: I'm going to update on this post until I finish all then I'll post pics and a final update as a new post.

Here's the pic of my 2 oz spun yarn:

I didn't get pics of the rest. The 2 swap items got mailed before I could get pics, and the stuffed artichoke I told myself "get a pic" but then I ate it instead. Oops. Afraid I'm not going to get the last item done... my neighbor asked me for a ride to pay a bill but then wanted to stop at a bar, so we sat around talking for 2 hours instead of my original plan to come home and craft. Oh well... Smiley

I swore I was going to keep up on everyone's projects, then I blinked and it was the end of August.  I miss the days I was a hermit, and didn't have a house to repair (it tried to kill us, again, with another gas leak... I don't know why it hates us so!).

But!  This time I went through all the pictures with a Word doc open because every time I think I can remember who did what to post something, I don't.  Brain like a sieve, I have...

sarahj2001 Cant believe you have the patience to crochet those tire covers!  They look great!

smashu All of your stuff is always so amazing.  I would love to learn to silkscreen (among so many other things, thats the problem!).

SilverMoon Nice wrist warmers!  Thats a project Ive been meaning to try forever.  You were way too productive, though!

later I gasped aloud and got the biggest grin when I saw the bowl of petunias and the sign!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

MissingWillow Oooh, all that food looks amazing!  And that Advent Calendar is awesome!

jillybeans Those peg people are adorable!  And I love the ATCs!

fantasticmio wow, thats a lot of dishcloths!  Amazing!

kriSmith Nice notebook cover!  I have an idea for a Teesha Moore cover, but I hear once you get started you cant stop

sheepBlue Love those screenprinted shirts!  And all those Teesha Moore patches.  I so need to try those!

QueenNinjaMonkey Those zombie nesting dolls were awesome.  Cheesy

that1girl That MLP mug is so cute!  And congrats on all the ribbons!

Kookaloo_Starr well done on the skirt!  The thing that gets me about the decorative stitching is that youre going around a seam thats already been stitched, and it makes it feel 10x longer than it was at first.  And then to do multiple rounds  go you!

indigo_roses That shawl is amazing!

alwaysinmyroom Wow, that mixed fabric/crochet project look neat, I never would have thought of doing that, but it makes sense  but I didnt need more things to try!  ~.^  And I love the cowl.

skittlebub Wow, even for a few months, thats super productive!  Love all the embroidery!

Abbeeroad Very pretty charm bracelet!
