Glad you like them!  I just love those little owls...and yes, a fusion blanket would be fantastic using those--it is like a quilt with crochet...I love that link!! I am doing a vintage hanky/crochet blanket similar but I love those little squares!  I need to see if I have some fat quarters in my stash to do it, too!

Wow, everyone's been so busy!
I've been trying to purge clutter. Going to have a big yard sale, and then take whatever's left straight to Goodwill. Then, maybe do it all again in another week or two.
Soo far behind on crafting, bah! But more space has got to be made. *rolls up sleeves*
I love all the cool stuff, too much to comment on all of it. But that is an amazing weeping angel!

Kookla--wow!  It turned out so wonderful...did you start out with a doll like in the tutorial?  It is fantastic and makes me hopeful that I can make one soon!

No, she's a cloth doll made up of parts from various patterns and fabric from my stash. Her body is faux suede upholstery samples, her wings are velour which I quilted with a thin layer of batting in between the layers. For her hair I crocheted a wigcap then added long strands either side of the centre so I could twist them into a bun at the back, the bun is glued into place with PVA. I needle sculpted and drew on a basic face before I sewed her hands in place as I wouldn't have felt right leaving it blank  Grin

WOW!  That makes your weeping angel even more impressive!  The fabrics you used are wonderful--I truly thought it was clay covered...

Awesome weeping angel, Kookaloo! I can't believe how many dolls you've created in such a short time! You're a machine!

Love that framed pin cushion, MeganCrafts! All your fabrics are super cute.

I still haven't watched Dr. Who, but that Weeping Angel doll is amazing!!

I made a dog bed for my boyfriend's dog's crate (the last one I made was a good idea in theory but didn't work out)

The pics not all that great, but every time I put it on the floor Lola attacked it and tried to burrow into it.  Roll Eyes    Cheesy

Aww thanks for all the nice comments on my Weeping Angel. I can't wait to see my sisters face when she opens it on Sunday  Grin

QueenNinjaMonkey, I haven't watched it since I was a young girl and John Pertwee was the Doctor  Shocked

that1girl, thanks for the link to the fusion blanket  Smiley

I have a new project planned today that isn't on my August list. A friend gave me a dress she no longer wanted and my sis in law gave me a vest with a nice sparkly flower on the front, neither are my colours so today I shall dye them and make the dress into a skirt so I have a summery outfit for the price of a dye  Smiley

I'm with you Always! There are some things I see that are really cool and I think to myself "I can do that" but then I never really get around to it - delete them!  Cheesy
