Always - Love the bowl covers! Are those to keep food warm or keep off flies? Or both?  Cheesy

Kook - Love the Weeping angel!! Its probably hands down my favorite DW villian and you captured the likeness so well.

I've made really good progress on my list.  Apparently mini lists are the way to go for me.

1. Swap notebook cover

2. New makeup bag

3. Picture frame pincushion

4. Scrabble tile necklace

All I have left now is my black gathered skirt, which I'm starting to regret putting on this list.  It's started, but I haven't had any motivation to finish it.

The framed pincushion is so cute!  What a good idea!  I also love your new pouch and that swap notebook cover is gorgeous!

Kookla--wow!  It turned out so wonderful...did you start out with a doll like in the tutorial?  It is fantastic and makes me hopeful that I can make one soon!

Thanks,sheepblue--the bowl covers are lined with wipeable nylon stuff. They will not prevent spills but they will keep flies off and keep the food either cooler or hotter than without a cover...they are a step up from the all plastic ones my grandma had...they are washable as well.

Glad you like them!  I just love those little owls...and yes, a fusion blanket would be fantastic using those--it is like a quilt with crochet...I love that link!! I am doing a vintage hanky/crochet blanket similar but I love those little squares!  I need to see if I have some fat quarters in my stash to do it, too!

Wow, everyone's been so busy!
I've been trying to purge clutter. Going to have a big yard sale, and then take whatever's left straight to Goodwill. Then, maybe do it all again in another week or two.
Soo far behind on crafting, bah! But more space has got to be made. *rolls up sleeves*
I love all the cool stuff, too much to comment on all of it. But that is an amazing weeping angel!

No, she's a cloth doll made up of parts from various patterns and fabric from my stash. Her body is faux suede upholstery samples, her wings are velour which I quilted with a thin layer of batting in between the layers. For her hair I crocheted a wigcap then added long strands either side of the centre so I could twist them into a bun at the back, the bun is glued into place with PVA. I needle sculpted and drew on a basic face before I sewed her hands in place as I wouldn't have felt right leaving it blank  Grin

WOW!  That makes your weeping angel even more impressive!  The fabrics you used are wonderful--I truly thought it was clay covered...

Awesome weeping angel, Kookaloo! I can't believe how many dolls you've created in such a short time! You're a machine!

Love that framed pin cushion, MeganCrafts! All your fabrics are super cute.
