Upside- you'll have an awesome x-ray from here on out Wink (Sorry the forensic anthropologist in me loves that stuff! i have a weird calcification on a rib, which i find fascinating! haha)

And you have to wait til April to get a cast? or is that the painkiller talking Wink

Hope you heal at lightening speed! Cheesy

That would be the painkillers talking.  Wink Let's try August 20th shall we?

Those zombie nesting dolls are adorable by the way! Smiley

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys!

FFrogg! Hope your cast transition goes ok! I was thinking what the heck did you do that you couldn't get a cast til April!?!

SilverMoon - did you make a whale to go with those petunias  Wink Or is one forthcoming? It would seem appropriate (err....Hitchhiker's guide reference if that confuses anyone).

Nope, no whale. I did think about it, but thought the sign would suffice Cheesy And I'm sure I mentioned it on your blog, but I do love those shirts!

I see you are going to do the Divine Hat !  I swear since indigo_roses linked me to the pattern, it is my favorite hat to make! Cheesy

Yes, after someone posted a picture of it done in Bernat Mosaic, I knew I had to do another one. The baby sized one I did a little while back didn't impress me, in that icky "fire" varigated, but I'm liking it a lot better rainbow. I'm so glad I frogged that ugly scarf I made to make this instead. And so quick too! I got up to row 12 last night before the pizza and cosmos kicked in and I couldn't focus on it and Alphas at the same time any more.

No progress on my August list as yet  Embarrassed but I have made a little something  Smiley
I've been playing around with oil pastels on fabric, making rubbings of various textured pieces I have floating around the place and loved the effect but had no idea what to use it for as I'd only done a small piece. Then I found a template online somewhere for a Spirit Doll, perfect size to use with my fabric doodling.
 Grin
even though her face is only the size on my thumbnail I still sculpted it then drew her features with a permanent marker.

FFrog I'm glad your surgery went well and you're now on the mend.

Love the petunias and the nesting dolls.  I'm kind of proud of myself, I have everything cut out for two of the projects on my August list.  I plan on spending tomorrow baking cookies and sewing, so hopefully by the end of the day I'll have at least 2 projects done.  Maybe I'll work on my scrabble tile necklace tonight...

Finished a WIP last night! A custom bag I made for a friend. She wanted just a random mis-mash of patches so I went to town with it.

2 down, 3 to go! I've already started brainstorming for the rest of them, though ideas aren't coming quite as quickly as I'd like. Ah well, still a couple of weeks left.

August Mini List

1. Screen print thank you shirts Fin 8/4

2. Complete Custom Random patchwork bag - WIP Fin 8/11

3. Make new screen/screen print pillowcases for Personal swap

4. Screen print/embroider hoopla for Personal swap

5. Start and finish custom bike artwork for Uncle
