[Eclectic Dreamer]

I just finished spinning this today,  and set it. It's not plied because I love the delicate twists of color, and I didn't want to risk losing it. I think it will be great for embroidery. Oh: mordant = vinegar, dye = Kool Aid (Grape, Lemonaid, Orange, Lime, Cherry). Done via microwave.

Made myself a lovely new jeans bag today, the old one was looking rather tatty and has been banished to the shed for a tool bag  

I put 4 buttons on the strap for adjusting the length on one side and a brass ring for a bit of bling on the other side  

 lining & pockets


and one for my SiL Angie 


Angie got fancypants upholstery samples as her lining. Each side co-ordinates but doesn't match  they do match the coloured stitching on the outside of the jeans though.

I have always loved jeans bags...yours turned out nicely!

What cute peg heroes!  I can't imagine painting so tiny!

Here is a pic of my hubby's drumming shoes that I spruced up...they were black and boring and he never wore them...now he wants me to do his other two pairs!   Actually, he wants to do one pair himself...so yeah, painting shoes can be addicting!

It is only one pair, but all sides are done with a different pattern:

I just finished baking banana nut muffins, since I had a couple bananas that were way too ripe. I love it when it turns out that I already have everything I need when I want to make something. Usually I end up needing to go get 1 or 2 ingredients. [sarcasm] Now I'm off to work on my favorite part of crocheting, weaving in the ends. [/sarcasm]
