I'll be posting this on the crochet board as well but this is definetly one of the biggest projects on my 50 projects list for 2012.  And its done!  4 months early!  GO ME!

My best friend is getting married in October.  While we were in college I made him an afghan and his fiance loves it as much as he does.  So when they told me they'd set a date and were offically getting married I asked them want they wanted.  Another afghan in sunset colors (She got to pick colors).  So this is what I came up with.

Forgive the shadow in the middle of the afghan.  Smiley

Laid out flat.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Ffrogg526, that is one amazing afghan!

Great badges jillybeans.

Everyone needs a tool roll. Your tools are always at hand, you know immediately if one is missing, they stay cleaner and it is so much fun to flick your wrist and just *fwick*!  Cheesy

I need the yo you hat pattern!  What a great way to use up bits of yarn!

Actually, so far I've just been winging it. When I make another one I'll try to come up with a pattern of some sorts.

Ffrogg526 - That afghan is gorgeous!

Jillybeans - Love the costume kit! Reminds me of when I was a kid - my mom somehow assembled a huge chest of play costumes and clothes and it was always so much fun.

Ffrogg - Congrats on finishing the afghan, it looks beautiful and will be a tremendously meaningful wedding present for your friends.

Ok time for me to photo dump. It's been a while and a swap package I sent out has been received so I don't have to worry about spoiling surprises any more  Cheesy

First I posted about a million hoops I made over the last few months at this link

Some of the highlights (there's tons more at the link and detail shots too)

And then swap stuff

Two shirts I screen printed - the second one is actually mold spores, not sperm and egg as almost everyone thinks it is.  Roll Eyes

Badges, a coiled mini pot thing (ignore the bracelet, it really didn't turn out that well  Undecided)

A vase....cover. I wet felted it (flat), and then machine sewed the texture in, then sewed it together into a tube. The inside isn't pretty but I love the texture of the outside. The idea is to put a plain vase in it so that you can enjoy the awesomeness of the felty texture.

And last is a bound art book I made using scraps of paper, prints, randomness  Grin

Ooh and last I almost forgot, my entry for last month's craftster challenge; a topography inspired art piece.

Ok all done for now  Grin

Sheepblue, all that is amazing! I love the hoops, and I really love the vase cover-that's so cool. Woman, is there anything you  can't make? Cheesy
