Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Suereal I love the flying pig!  Even without the accessories, hes wonderful. And the wicked matchbox and sewing kit are cool too.  (I love things with teeth)

Ids13 love the ear cuff very nice work, especially for a first try!

SilverMoon nice ninja monkey.  And nice to know Im not the only one with an emergency gift closet, just in case.

Smeddley and smashu Im in awe of the clothing!  Really nice.

A few more things to add to my list!

25. bath salt potions and basswood rack

For the HP summer session craftalong, these are recycled hops tubes from my ister, filled with bath salts scented to remind me of various places; my grandmothers house (attar of roses) Washington State (fir and apples) Flagstaff (cedar and spice), etc.  The rack I made of craft basswood with a nice pearlized green paint.

26. Lavender bottles and sachets

The lavender is blooming like crazy this summer, so nearly every night I stop and pick some stems or pull off some heads as I'm going into the house.  Ill be making a bunch of sachets and pillows later this summer (lavender is one of my favorite scents) but while the flowers are still bright and fresh I tried my hand at making lavender bottles, which I havent done when I was a kid.  (As usual, I didnt think to take a picture before I started giving them away this is the dregs.  But still plenty nice hanging up in a closet!)

27.  Lavender scarf/stole

Also for the HP summer session craftalong made out of some soft baby yarn, this makes a great doubled over scarf if you stretch it lengthwise.  Pulled width-wise, it makes a nice little over the shoulders shawl for evening.  A nice quick knit!

28. Camera bag

I lost my little camera bag, so I made another from a felted sweater sleeve.  The back has two blanket stitched slits, so I can strap it into my bag.

And while dont have a good picture, the veggie gardens are in at work and at home. (#29) This year Ive put in four kinds of tomatoes, three kinds of peppers, two kinds of eggplants and cucumbers, along with rhubarb, kiwi vines, a red raspberry, several flowing vines,  and lots of different herbs; on top of the grape vines, blackberries and blueberries that are still there.   (Not bad for tiny little plots carved out of unused space!)
Im working on more water-wise strategies this year; adding a rain barrel at home, digging sphagnum moss and coffee grounds into the beds and experimenting with self-irrigating planters.  Heres to a fruitful summer!

Love that lavender shall, yofi! And I'm so jealous of your lavender. It is one of my faves, too!

To celebrate two weeks of successful potty training, I made my son some underwear using two old t-shirts.

My partner in the UK Only Swap received today so I can show off what I made for her  Smiley This was my first time doing any sort of appliqu and I have to say THANK GOODNESS FOR WONDERUNDER  Grin
The cushion covers are a simple envelope back as I'm not confident in my buttonholes when making things for other people  Embarrassed

I also made the cushion inners as the ones I could afford to buy weren't substantial enough for my liking. They're made from the same fabric as the cushion cover and stuffed very firmly  Smiley
