I got a kilt pin brooch in a swap earlier this year and love it so much I made myself one too 

all odds & ends from my bead box apart from the actual pin.

Although any glove with a ribbed cuff would do - the slip stitching in this pattern drove me up the wall, and when Master Four finally gets a pair out of me, I think I'll skip that bit.
Yes, my Master Three got upgraded yesterday, so expect a few crafty, dragony, party things coming up!

here are a few things I made last month but didn't get a chance to post.
A prototype for something I want to put in my shop (someday, maybe I might get one!)

A crochet purse I made for my niece for her bday. It was some practice crochet and originally started as a scarf, but I got a bit into it and realised that the yarn was a bit rough for a scarf, so I folded it in half, lined it and braided some chain for a handle.

and this I finished just the other day. I finally figured out what to do with my solitary ball of acrylic/milk protein, clearance bin, beautiful soft yarn. I made a moebius neck warmer/cowl. I'm getting faster with my knitting. Well with these basic stitches anyway.

I need a quick project now, because I've gotten two - okay, one - project done in the last three weeks.  But it was a doozy!



60 hours of work, 1,234 4" squares, 16,042 inches of seams sewn...  They are completely lined (all white) and weight a TON (good thing the song is only 2 minutes long!).  And I now know how to make a reversible 25-yard skirt!

Smeddley, those skirts are stunning! I still want one of those myself, though I think I'd cheat and buy some of that preprinted patchwork circle skirt material off spoonflower - I don't have the dedication you obviously do!

So I've been lax in posting.. But I have been stalking you all on the thread! lol I graduate with my MA this Friday and had a mini-exhibit of my research Monday. The past few weeks have also been messed up with some really hard and tragic events that have been affecting me. Luckily I have started crafting again! I will post my projects shortly

Now that I've had my first taste of making jewelry I can't seem to get enough.  I tried adding beads to an ear cuff and it failed miserably soooo I turned it into an earring and made a couple more for my little sister and then made a few pendants, two are for belly button rings and the others are for necklaces:
