Thanks everyone, the chicken hat was a huge hit... I did not get to keep it. Sad  But that's okay, I can make myself another one... and a few more for the other people that tried to steal it...  Cheesy

If anyone is curious, this is the pattern/tutorial I used: http://clearkid.deviantart.com/art/Fleece-Hat-Tutorial-68772035

I just added the red comb at the top (I just cut out two red squiggly bits of fleece and sewed them together at the wavy edge, then stitched it in when I was putting the two halves of the hat together), the beak (two triangles of orange fleece with blanket stitching around the edge stitched on the the finished hat at the band seam), and two button eyes.  I don't think the project even took... half an hour?  Maybe 45 minutes, as I was distracted by the tv and sleep deprivation!

yofi - yum! yum!  The treats do look delicious!

Smeddley - thanks for the mini tute on the chicken hat.  I have a four year old over here who would love a chicken hat.  She has a chicken costume that she wore for 3 straight days but its getting a tad tight.

dolphinwind- just jump right back in.  I occasionally drift away from this thread due to life too...everyone is always quite kind about it.  Cheesy

So - I've joined Round 21 of the IYP swap!  So now crafting time is being devoted to swap projects.  Whoo hoo!  This just means I won't be able to post these awesome projects until sometime (probably) in July when send-outs happen!  URG!

I haven't posted here for a bit.  Just looked though the last couple of pages of projects.  I love all the different types of projects that show up here.

I've made a couple of shirts for myself...I just need to get photos of them.

And I've been working on a Mini Quilt for a swap.  Just about done so I should be able to post pics of it soon.

Oh wow, that is so pretty, always!  What a lucky partner!

I have a few projects to share, which are some swap packages my partner's have received in the OWS round 82 swap:

To mama24boyz for her daughter's bday party (which is such a cute rainbow theme!):

I made her 2 of these rainbow felt bunting

I also had so much felt on hand, that I decided to make up this ruffled felt garland as an extra.

I also have a box full of curly ribbons that I made up last year, so I figured I'd also throw in a cute little hair accessory for her, too!  ^_^

To MollyGirl:

A due date shirt that MollyGirl had found on etsy and that I recreated for her.  I made the image in word, and then the design was freezer paper stenciled onto the shirt.

To phoenixfiredesigns:

Shirts!  Both were done using the freezer paper stencil method, but I used discharge paste instead of fabric paint this time.  For those of you unfamiliar with discharge paste, its something you dab on and then iron and it lifts the color of the shirt out (similar to bleach, but heat activates it and its so much easier to control).

I also have all my ATCs for April's ATC swap to show you all, but instead of posting all of those here, I will give you the link to their thread.  I made these between 4/1/12 to 5/13/12.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408876.0
