Thanks everyone, the chicken hat was a huge hit... I did not get to keep it.   But that's okay, I can make myself another one... and a few more for the other people that tried to steal it...

I just added the red comb at the top (I just cut out two red squiggly bits of fleece and sewed them together at the wavy edge, then stitched it in when I was putting the two halves of the hat together), the beak (two triangles of orange fleece with blanket stitching around the edge stitched on the the finished hat at the band seam), and two button eyes.  I don't think the project even took... half an hour?  Maybe 45 minutes, as I was distracted by the tv and sleep deprivation!

Smeddley - thanks for the mini tute on the chicken hat.  I have a four year old over here who would love a chicken hat.  She has a chicken costume that she wore for 3 straight days but its getting a tad tight.

So - I've joined Round 21 of the IYP swap!  So now crafting time is being devoted to swap projects.  Whoo hoo!  This just means I won't be able to post these awesome projects until sometime (probably) in July when send-outs happen!  URG!

I haven't posted here for a bit.  Just looked though the last couple of pages of projects.  I love all the different types of projects that show up here.

I've made a couple of shirts for myself...I just need to get photos of them. 

And I've been working on a Mini Quilt for a swap.  Just about done so I should be able to post pics of it soon.
